Care is individualized, measurable, and aligned with your current stage of function. Every session is designed around the movements and challenges you face each day.
Adults recovering after hospitalization, rehabilitation stays, or post-surgical procedures including joint replacement.
Individuals experiencing balance impairment, fall risk, or neurologic conditions that affect safe mobility.
Those facing ongoing weakness, deconditioning, or functional decline requiring skilled professional therapy.
Patients who require skilled oversight to prevent decline and maintain their current level of independence.
Ohio law allows eligible patients to begin physical therapy without first obtaining a referral. Medicare coverage has additional requirements, including medical necessity and certification of the physical therapy Plan of Care by a physician or other qualified Medicare practitioner.
You can start physical therapy without waiting for a referral. Ohio law supports your right to access care directly.
You do not need to be homebound. Next Stage Therapy provides outpatient physical therapy in your home. If you do not yet have physician or practitioner involvement, we can assist in coordinating certification to ensure coverage requirements are met. Deductibles and coinsurance may apply.

Not necessarily. Ohio allows direct access to physical therapy. However, Medicare requires certification of the Plan of Care by a physician or other qualified Medicare practitioner for coverage.
No. This is outpatient therapy delivered in the home. Homebound status is not required.
